Ingredients:

  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Pyaz (Onion) slices 2 medium
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Mutton qeema (Mutton mince) hand chopped ½ kg
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tsp or to taste
  • Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 8-10
  • Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 1
  • Laung (Cloves) 4
  • Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1
  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) peeled & chopped 3 medium
  • Pani (Water) 1 Cup or as required
  • Methi (Fenugreek leaves) ½ Cup
  • Soya (Dill) ¼ Cup
  • Javatri powder (Mace powder) 1 pinch
  • Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) 1 pinch
  • Hari mirch (Green chilies) whole 3-4
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)

Directions:

In pot,add oil,onion and fry until light brown.

Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

Add mutton mince and mix well until changes color and cook for 8-10 minutes or until oil separates.

Add cumin seeds,red chili crushed,turmeric powder,salt and mix well.

Add black peppercorns black cardamom,cloves,star anise and mix well.

Add tomatoes and mix well for 2-3 minutes.

Add water and mix well,cover and cook on medium low flame for 20-25 minutes.

Add fenugreek leaves and mix well.

Add dill and mix well.

Cover and cook on low flame until oil separates (6-8 minutes).

Add mace powder,nutmeg powder and mix well.

Add green chilies and fresh coriander,cover and simmer for 2 minutes & serve.
