  • Ghee 1 Cup
  • Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 & ½ Cups
  • Sooji (Semolina) 2 tbs
  • Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 2 tsp
  • Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) ¾ Cup or to taste
  • Namak (Salt) 1 pinch
  • Badam (Almonds) chopped ¼ Cup
  • Pista (Pistachio) chopped 2 tbs
  • Kaju (Cashew nuts) chopped 2 tbs
  • Pani (Water) 1 Cup or as required
  • Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) ¼ tsp + Pani (Water) 1 tbs


In pot,add ghee and let it melt.

Add all-purpose flour and semolina,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Add caster sugar and salt,mix well and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes and keep mixing in between.

Add almonds,pistachio,cashew nuts and mix well.

Add water,mix continuously and cook until crumbled (approx.5-6 minutes).

Add dissolve yellow food color and mix well,cook until it leave the sides of the pot (approx.5-6 minutes).
