Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • Doodh (Milk) 400 ml
  • Cream 400 ml
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Anday ki zarde (Egg yolks) 4
  • Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) ½ Cup

Directions:

In pot,add milk,cream and vanilla essence,bring it to boil while mixing continuously (4-5 minutes).

Remove from heat and whisk until it comes to room temperature.

In bowl,add egg yolks,caster sugar and beat until it changes color.

Now gradually add milk mixture in egg mixture,whisk until well combined and strain it.

Put it back on stove,whisk until custard thickens and let it cool.

Pour the mixture in air tight container and freeze it for 4 hours.

Take out from freezer,beat for 2 minutes,cover and freeze for 4 hours.

Again take out from freezer,beat again and put it in freezer for at least 4 hours before serving.
