Ingredients:

  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) cubes 2 medium
  • Lehsan (Garlic) 4-5 cloves
  • Pyaz (Onion) 1 small
  • Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
  • Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
  • Tez paat (Bay leaf) 1
  • Pyaz (Onion) whole ½ kg (small)
  • Red/Green chillies 4-5
  • Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Directions:

In chopper,add tomatoes,garlic and onion,grind well & set aside.

In wok,add cooking oil,cumin seeds,cinnamon stick,bay leaf and mix.

Add whole onions and mix well.

Add red/green chillies and fry onions until golden brown (approx. 10-12 minutes).

Now add onion+tomato mixture and mix well.

Add turmeric powder,salt,red chili powder,coriander powder and mix well,cover and cook on low flame for 12-15 minutes.

Add fresh coriander and mix.

Garnish with fresh coriander & serve!
