Prepare Beef Kababs:

-Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2

-Pipli (Long pepper) 1

-Kabab chini (Cubeb) ½ tsp

-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 4-5

-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tbs

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste

-Garam masala powder 1 tsp

-Haldi powder (Turmeric Powder) ½ tsp

-Boneless beef 750g

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) chopped 5-6

-Dahi (Yogurt) hung 1-2 tbs

-Bread slices 2

-Podina (Mint leaves) 10-12

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) 1-2 tbs

-Nurpur Butter salted 2 tbs (room temperature)

-Yellow food color few drops (optional)

-Cooking oil 1 tbs

-Nurpur butter

-Naan large

Prepare Sauce:

-Hari chutney (Green chutney) 2 tbs

-Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup

-Cream ½ Cup

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste


-Chaat masala to taste

-Nurpur Butter salted 50g

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped



Prepare Beef Kababs:

-In a frying pan,add cinnamon sticks,long pepper,cubeb,green cardamom,black peppercorns, cumin seeds & dry roast on medium flame until fragrant (2-3 minutes).

-Let it cool & transfer to mortal & pestle,crush to make powder.

-Add salt,coriander powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder,mix well & set aside.

-In a chopper,beef,onion,ginger garlic paste,green chillies,yogurt,bread slices,ground spices,mint leaves,fresh coriander,butter,yellow food color,chop until well combined & refrigerate for 15 minutes.

-With the help of wet hands,take small quantity (130g) & skew on metal skewer.

-Heat griddle,add cooking oil,butter & fry kababs on low flame until golden brown & apply melted butter in between (makes 7).

-On the same griddle,toast naan from both sides.

Prepare Sauce:

-In a bowl,add green chutney,yogurt,cream,salt & whisk well.


-On toasted naan,place kababs,drizzle prepared sauce & sprinkle chaat masala.

-In small frying pan,add butter & let it melt,pour melted butter on kababs,sprinkle fresh coriander & serve!
