Kachay qeema kay khattay kabab

Ingredients:

  • Pyaz (Onion) 3 medium
  • Beef qeema (Mince) ½ kg
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Imli pulp (Tamarind pulp) 5-6 tbs
  • Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped 1
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 & ½ tbs
  • Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
  • Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 tbs
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 & ½ tsp
  • Anda (Egg) 1
  • Chakki ka aata (Wheat flour) sifted 5-6 tbs
  • Cooking oil for frying

Aalo Podina Raita:

  • Podina (Mint) ½ Cup
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) ¼ Cup
  • Hari mirch (Green chilli) 4-5
  • Aloo (Potato) boiled 1 medium
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup
  • Water 1-2 tbs or as required

Directions:

In a bowl,grate onions with the help of the garter & squeeze our excess water & set aside.

In a bowl,add beef mince,onion,ginger garlic paste,tamarind pulp,green chilli,fresh coriander,salt, coriander seeds,garam masala powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder,red chilli crushed,egg,wheat flour & mix until well combined.

Take a mixture (60g) and make kababs of equal sizes (makes 15).

In frying pan,add cooking oil & fry kababs from both sides until brown.

Aalo Podina Raita:

In a blender,add mint leaves,fresh coriander leaves,green chilies,boiled potato,cumin seeds,salt,yogurt, water & blend well.

Serve kababs with chutney!
