Atta Qeema samosa

Ingredients:

Prepare Qeema Filling:

-Beef boneless small cubes ½ kg

-Cooking oil 4-5 tbs

-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 medium

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tbs

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp

-Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 4 medium

-Water 1 Cup or as required

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp

-Garam masala powder ¼ tsp

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) chopped 5-6

-Hara pyaz (Green onion) chopped ½ Cup

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful

Prepare Dough:

-Fine atta (Fine flour) sifted 500g

-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 2 tsp

-Baking soda ½ tsp

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Water 1 & ½ Cup or as required

-Cooking oil for frying

 

Directions:

Prepare Qeema Filling:

-Finely hand chop beef on a clean cutting board & set aside.

-In a wok,add cooking oil,onion & fry until light golden.

-Add hand chopped beef mince and mix well until it changes color.

-Add ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for 2 minutes.

-Add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli crushed,red chilli powder,cumin seeds,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.

-Add tomatoes and mix well,cover & cook on medium flame for 6-8 minutes then cook on high flame for 1-2 minutes.

-Add water and mix well,cover & cook on low flame until tender (18-20 minutes) then cook on high flame for 1-2 minutes.

-Add black pepper powder,garam masala powder,green chillies,green onion,fresh coriander & mix well.

-Let it cool.

Prepare Dough:

-In a bowl,add fine flour,turmeric powder,baking soda,salt & mix well.

-Gradually add water,mix well & knead until soft & sticky dough is formed.

-Cover with wet kitchen towel & let it rest for 30 minutes.

-Now spread wet kitchen cloth on a clean working surface.

-Wet hand with water,take a small quantity of dough,make a ball & spread the dough with the help of wet hand.

-Add prepared mince filling (2 tbs) & fold the dough with the help of wet cloth to make D-shape samosa shape (makes 8).

-In a wok,heat cooking oil & fry samosa on low flame until golden & crispy.

-Serve with tomato ketchup & green chutney.
