Molten Chocolate Lava Cake

The simplest and the best Chocolate lava Cake recipe you will ever find.
This is probably one of the most requested recipe that we have.
Just make sure you use good quality chocolate chips and have your oven on exactly 200c. Baking time should be exactly 14 min for 2 inch deep ramekins . This is probably the simplest treat for a chocolate lover.


• Butter 4 Tbs
• Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/3 cup
• Icing sugar ½ cup
• Egg yolk 1
• Egg 1
• All-purpose flour 3 Tbs
• Vanilla extract ¼ tsp
• 2” deep ramekins

-Preheat oven at 200 C.
-Add butter and chocolate in a bowl and microwave for 30- 45 seconds or until butter and chocolate melts. Mix well.
-Stir in the sugar until well blended.
-Add egg yolk and egg, whisk well. Stir in flour, mix well.
-Add vanilla extract and give it a good mix.
-Grease your ramekins or 2 inch deep oven safe bowls. Add some flour or coco powder and dust excess.
-Add mixture in ramekins/bowls. Add bake at 200 C for exact 14 minutes. Cake should have firm side and the center remains soft. Let stand for a minute and invert the cake on separate plates while it’s warm.
-Sprinkle icing sugar and serve.

• If ramekins are not available use small bowl (preferably 2x2 inch deep) which are oven safe or a cupcake tray.
