Bread lasagna with Nuggets

Ingredients:

  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Monsalwa Chicken nuggets 1 pack (900g)
  • Water as required
  • Tamtar (Tomatoes) 2 medium
  • Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
  • Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 large
  • Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 2 tbs
  • Mushrooms chopped ½ Cup
  • Gajar (Carrots) chopped ½ Cup
  • Corn kernels boiled ½ Cup
  • Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped 1 medium
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano 1 tsp
  • Dried basil leaves ½ tsp
  • Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ½ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2-3 tbs
  • Makhan (Butter) 2-3 tbs
  • Maida (All-purpose flour) 3 tbs
  • Yakhni (Chicken stock) 1 Cup or as required
  • Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup
  • Cheddar cheese grated ½ Cup
  • Bread slices large as required
  • Mozzarella cheese grated as required
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed
  • Dried oregano

Directions:

In a wok,heat cooking oil and fry chicken nuggets until golden brown & set aside.

Creamy Vegetable Sauce:

In saucepan,add water and heat it.

Cut tomatoes slightly with the help of the knife.

In heated water,add tomatoes and blanch for 2-3 minutes & remove skin.

Let it cool.

In grinder,add tomatoes and blend to make a puree & set aside.

In a wok,add cooking oil,onion and sauté until translucent.

Add garlic and mix well for 1 minute.

Add mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes.

Add carrots,corn kernels and mix well.

Add capsicum,mix well and cook for a minute.

Now add pureed tomatoes and mix well.

Add salt,black pepper powder,red chilli crushed,dried oregano,dried basil leaves,nutmeg powder,mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Add tomato ketchup and cook until dries up.

In the same wok,set aside vegetable filling and in the center of the wok,add butter and let it melt.

Add all-purpose flour and mix well for a minute.

Add chicken stock and whisk well then mix well all vegetable filling.

Add milk,mix continuously and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add cheddar cheese,mix well & set aside.

Cut the corners of bread slices and roll out with the help of rolling pin & set aside.

Assembling:

Grease baking dish with butter,add & spread prepared creamy vegetable sauce,place bread slices then add & spread prepared creamy vegetable sauce,fried chicken nuggets,mozzarella cheese,fresh coriander,red chilli crushed,dried oregano,bread slices,prepared creamy vegetable sauce,fried chicken nuggets,mozzarella cheese, red chilli crushed & dried oregano.

Baking without Oven:

In pot,add 1 pack of salt,place wire rack (min 2“high) and preheat for 10 minutes.

Place bread lasagna,cover and bake in pot on low flame for 18-20 minutes.

Baking in Oven:

Bake in preheated oven at 180 for 15-18 minutes.
