Ingredients:
- Dahi (Yogurt) 750 gms
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tsp
- Hara dhania (Coriander) 1-2 tbs
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Lehsan (Garlic) crushed ½ tsp
- Hari mirch (Green chili) crushed 2 tsp
- Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup
- Baisan (Gram flour) 1 Cup
- Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
- Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
- Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp
- Baking powder ¼ tsp
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tsp
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
- Garlic paste (Lehsan paste) ½ tsp
- Pani (Water) if required
- Oil for frying
- Pani (Water) lukewarm as required
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
Tadka:
- Oil 2 tbs
- Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp
- Curry pata (Curry leaves) 5-6
- Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tsp
Directions:
In yogurt,add cumin seeds,coriander,salt,garlic,green chili,milk and mix well,set aside.
In bowl,add gram flour and water,mix well and let it rest for 30 minutes.
In gram flour batter,add turmeric powder,red chili powder,baking powder,cumin seeds,salt,garlic paste, water and mix well until smooth batter is formed.
In wok,heat oil and fry baray (dumplings) until golden brown.
In lukewarm water,add salt and mix well.
Add fried baray and let them soak for 10 minutes,take them out and squeeze to remove excess water.
In serving dish,add fried baray (dumplings) and spiced yogurt.
For Tadka:
In small frying pan,add oil,green chilies,cumin seeds and curry leaves,mix well.
Add red chili crushed and mix.
Now pour the tadka on dahi baray and serve.
Ajza:

Dahi mein zeera,hara dhania,namak,lehsan,hari mirch aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein baisan aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur 30 minutes kliya rakh dein.
Baisan ka batter mein haldee powder,lal mirch powder,baking powder,zeera,namak,lehsan paste aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur smooth batter tayyar ker lein.
Karhai mein oil garam karein aur baray (dumplings) ko golden brown fry ker lein.
Neem garam pani mein namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein
Pani mein fried baray dal dein aur 10 minutes kliya bhego dein,baray ko squeeze ker ka excess pani nikal lein.
Serving dish mein fried baray (dumplings) rakh dein aur spiced dahi dal dein.
For Tadka:
Chotay frying pan mein oil,hari mirch,zeera aur curry pata dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Lal mirch crushed dal ker mix karein.
Ab tarka ko dahi baray per dal ker serve karein.
