Creamy Mango Sticky Rice Dessert

Ingredients:

-Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ Cup

-Olper’s cream 1 Cup

-Sugar ¼ Cup or to taste

-Coconut milk powder 50g

-Cornflour 1 tsp

-Himalayan pink salt a pinch

-Chawal (Rice) 1 Cup preferably glutinous rice or sticky rice

-Water 1 & ½ Cup

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Aam (Mango)

-Til (Sesame seeds) black as required

 

Directions:

-In a saucepan,add milk,cream,sugar,coconut milk powder,cornflour,pink salt & whisk until well combined.

-Turn on the flame,mix continuously & cook on low flame until it thickens (4-5 minutes) & set aside.

-In a pot,add rice,water,pink salt,turn on the flame & mix well,bring it to boil,cover with kitchen cloth & lid & steam cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes or until sticky.

-Remove from flame & mix well,add half quantity of prepared hot creamy coconut sauce (reserve for later use) & mix well,cover & let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

-Peel & cut mango into thin slices.

-In a serving plate,place sticky rice,mango slices,black sesame seeds,pour creamy coconut sauce & serve!
