Orange Mousse

Ingredients:

  • Orange juice fresh 400ml
  • Lemon juice 3-4 tbs
  • Cornflour 4-5 tbs or as required
  • Anday ki zardi (Egg yolks) 2
  • Sugar ½ Cup or to taste
  • Orange food color few drops
  • Ice cubes
  • Olper’s dairy cream 400ml
  • Icing sugar ½ Cup or to taste
  • Orange essence ¼ tsp
  • Orange slice
  • Mint leaves

Directions:

In a saucepan,add orange juice,lemon juice,cornflour,egg yolks,sugar & whisk well to combine all ingredients.

Turn on the flame,mix well,add orange food color,mix continuously and cook on low flame until it thickens (12-15 minutes).

Transfer to a bowl,cover the surface with cling film and let it cool at room temperature then refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Take out from refrigerate,blend well with the help of hand blender & set aside.

In a large bowl,add ice cubes & place another bowl over it,add cream & beat well.

Add icing sugar,orange essence & beat until stiff peaks form.

Transfer 1/3 portion of whipped cream to a piping bag.

In remaining whipped cream,add prepared orange mixture & fold until well combined and transfer to a piping bag.

In serving cups,add a layer of orange mousse,whipped cream and scrape excess cream.

Garnish with orange slices,mint leaves & serve chilled!
