  • Paani (Water) 2 cups
  • Cheeni (Sugar) 2 cups
  • Laung (Cloves) 4
  • Zarde ka rang (Food color) 1 pinch
  • Saib (Golden apples) cut & peeled ½ kg medium
  • Leemo ka rus (Lemon juice) 1 tbs
  • Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp


Cut,peel and keep apples in salt water for 15 minutes.(Namak (salt) ½ tsp + pani (water) cold 2 cup or as required).

In pot,add water,sugar and cloves,mix it and bring it to boil. Cook until sugar dissolves.

Add food color and mix well.

Add apple slices, lemon juice and cardamom powder, mix it.

Cover and cook until apples are soft and sugar syrup is thick. (Approx. 30-35 minutes) and let it cool.

Apple murabba is ready.


  • You can store at room temperature or refrigerate.
  • Always use clean and dry jars.
  • Don’t use wet or used spoon.
